The Mall Of Victor Valley

My name is Vito Bello, I'm the marketing manager here at the center and it's going to be my honor to give you a little tour. Today we're going to go ahead and venture into our JC Penney construction, our Macy's construction site and then we're also going to tell you a little bit about some construction we haven'talked about yet. So let's go ahead and get started. We are in our JC Penney construction site, formerly Forever 21. As you can see we've done the demolition work on the exterior of the building. We're adding just under 19,000 square feet to make this JC Penney location just under 100,000 square feet, effectively doubling the size of JC Penney at the Mall of Victor Valley. The JC Penney building will be open by early October 2012 so you can expect to be doing your holiday shopping at JC Penney at the Mall of Victor Valley. Here we are, we are entering our Macy's construction site. Right now we're doing all the civil work and the pad work to allow us to extend the building. One of the biggest questions that we get when we're talking about the Macy's expansion is how much bigger is the building going to be? We're going to be expanding the building by about 30,000 square feet which is going to make Macy's just over 100,000 square feet. It's a good size store but where I'm walking right now is our new sidewalk for the building and if you reach out over to our side you can actually see this flattened compacted area which will be the interior of our new Macy's building. Reach is pretty far out here into the parking lot. Macy's is currently planned to be constructed and open in the first quarter of 2013. We're actually looking at the tail end of March. Here we are at our entrance for our clock tower entrance for the Mall of Victor Valley. This entrance was originally constructed in 1985 for our grand opening in 1986 and the special story I want to tell So our entire exterior facade available from the 15 freeway in Bear Valley will be a brand new entrance. This is going to be a brand new shopping center for What we're just really excited about it's really going to provide a wonderful face lift to the shopping center and be visible from Bear Valley, the Bear Valley Overpass and the 15 freeway.
