Heart rate based, interval training in a fun and energizing group environment. Burning calories AFTER you workout? That's the orange effect!
The physiological theory behind Orangetheory is known as excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). During the course of a session, you will perform focused 10-30 minute intervals that use your entire body and stimulate your metabolism. After each exercise, you will feel increased energy. After the session, your body will continue to burn more calories as it tries to recover from the strong bursts of activity.
We're at OTF Tustin. To tell you about Orange Theory, I can run you through it. It's about heart rate based interval training. Most people call it hit training, high intensity, but it's more heart rate based. We focus on three training zones, which are the green, orange, and red. That is base for the green, push for the orange, and all out for the red. Well, Orange Theory has made that shift from being endorsed to outdoors, but nothing's really changed as far as what we're doing, what we're trying to implement. What we're implementing here is a community. We're implementing that passion, that drive, that family, and that's the three things that can keep people going in their day to day life. No one can do things on their own, which is why we have that collective community here together. It's important for people to find a stress reliever because they seem a little discouraged in the beginning, but that's the point of why the coaches are there. We're here to keep you motivated, we're here to put smiles on your face, and make sure you're being the best version of yourself every second, minute, and hour. This is Coach James, AKA Coach J, AKA Mr. OTF checking out here. If you're interested in taking the class over here at Tustin, your first class will be free. And if you're not interested, still come by, give us a look, see what we're all about. Peace, love, and happy.
