The Oaks is one of the most exclusive communities in all of Sarasota, offering world class golf and resort style amenities to go along with the breathtaking views of KC Key, Sarasota Bay and the nature preserves that surround the area. The Oaks is home to some of the most beautiful houses in the area as well. If you're looking for luxury living at its finest, this is the place for you. The Oaks is a country club community located just south of Sarasota and Osprey. It's actually made up of three different neighborhoods on the east and west sides of Route 41, those being Oaks Bayside, the preserves, and Oaks Clubside. As I said, the amenities that the Oaks Club provides are amazing. You have two 18 hole championship golf courses, over a dozen tennis courts, a 34,000 square foot clubhouse and fitness center, a croquet court, just name it, they have it. For residents here, membership to the Oaks Club is mandatory. There are two different types of membership, equity which includes golf and social which offers everything but unlimited golf. Even if you don't play tennis or golf, there is an active social calendar here and a ton of other activities to enjoy. So let's take a look at the three neighborhoods that encompass the Oaks. Let'start with Oaks Clubside. This community sits east of North Tammammy Trail and is home to the Oaks Club, which is one of the finest members-only golf clubs in Sarasota County. Here you'll find over 350 single-family homes, most of which have a grand presentation, great curb appeal. As I said, you'll find some of the most beautiful homes in the Sarasota area here, with just about all of them being over 2,500 square foot with signature custom designs, no top-end finishes, and great lanais and pools to enjoy. Oaks Clubside is built around nature preserves and boasts two 18-hole championship golf courses that are probably some of the best in the county. In addition to a great tennis facility with 12 courts, Oaks Clubside is perfect for those looking to live the country club lifestyle. Next let's look at Oaks Bayside. This is a gated community west of Route 41 right across the street from Clubside. This was actually the first community of the Oaks to be developed, with over 190 home sites and gorgeous views of Sarasota Bay, KC Key, CST Key, and the nature preserves that surround it. Here you'll find more classic-style homes surrounded by mature landscaping with large oaks and palms everywhere. Being surrounded by estuaries, preserves, and Sarasota Bay, it's one of the most beautiful communities in Sarasota. The Preserve is also home to the Meridian, which is a collection of six mid-rise luxury condo towers with its own pool and fitness center and offers some of the best views in the area of the Gulf of Mexico.
