The Village At Briarcliff

Charles Garny had a great vision for BriarCliff back in the beginning. He wanted to build it as a community that serviced the Northland and also be a mixed use from offices to retail to restaurants to service companies everything that you could find what you need right here in BriarCliff. BriarCliff is just great. First of all, it'such a beautiful place. I mean, they keep the grounds up so well. There's always some flowers blooming or something going on. And then we have lovely restaurants. You can go to the spot, you can get something to eat, you can have a massage, you can pick up your dry cleaning and take home a puppy. Got people coming from Leeward. We have customers for Overland Park that come every week. We have people from St. Joseph. It's a wonderful place now. It's growing and that's what is important for us. Our business is growing this year too. So we are very happy about it. What can you expect at BriarCliff? Great customer service, beautiful environment, well maintained, great unique shops that you're not going to find anywhere else, restaurants that you're not going to find anywhere else. It's a great location and just because it's north of the river, it doesn't mean you have to pack a lunch to come here. We're literally five minutes away from downtown. It's easy to get here from Johnson County. It's a unique area that's worth the visit. I think it's really good that we have little family-owned businesses around. Hostel Pepper is the biggest chain that you have around here and it's family-owned. The owner, it's all the time visiting every hostel pepper. The owners are involved. The team members are all involved and they really care about the success of BriarCliff and to provide an area where people can come and connect into their own community within their surrounding area. It's just easy. It's nice and easy. You're not frantic. It's a more restful place to shop. You think about going to a large shopping center and getting in the door and then getting to the store. It's just easy. That's what makes BriarCliff unique because you can find a lot of the other shops everywhere you go in the city. But this is a unique mix. You're not going to find anywhere else in Kansas City.
