Well, one of the busiest intersections in Northeast Ohio is about to get even more congested, but some hope it will relieve those headaches in the future. That is the hope. Our traffic reporter, Caitlin Hunt joins us live from Avon this morning with more details on this, and it is quiet out there at this hour, but we know during the day, Caitlin, that it is a very congested part of Northeast Ohio. Yeah, that's exactly right, Mike. And we're talking about the intersection of Detroit Road and State Route 83, which is where I'm at right now. Just as Mike said, it's very quiet right now here in the morning, so you wouldn't believe it if we say it right now. But if you come out here later in the day, it's definitely busy, and it's mostly due to its location here. The intersection, it's right off of Interstate 90, and it's also right by Avon Commons, which is where Costco is, Target, all of the good stuff. So if you're a frequent traveler or shopper in this area, be prepared to pack your patients for the next 14 months, because starting July 21st, that's on Monday, the City of Avon will begin an improvement project at this intersection, and crews will be widening the roads to create a dedicated right turn lane in all directions. Left turn lanes in both directions will also be added to State Route 83, and Detroit Road will also add one left turn lane on the eastbound and then one on the westbound sides of the road. Now, this project is over $11 million and has been years in the making, and the City of Avon's Mayor Brian Jensen says the main concern in widening this intersection is to get more cars moving to popular destinations, just Not a better time to do it. It's just, again, when it's growing pains, it's just painful at first, and hopefully once it's completed, it will move a lot more traffic, and people will be more satisfied, because no one's going to be totally satisfied with traffic in Avon. And the project will be completed in part, so crews are going to start Monday, and then they're going to take a pause in November for the winter. When things are to warm up in the spring, they'll start again with the hopes of completing this project in October of 2026. Mike, Tiffany. All right, thank you, Caitlin.
