You assume the responsibility of your purchase, and no refunds will be issued. You may contact us within 10 days from the purchase date if you wish to exchange your purchase for a product of equal or lesser value. Painted Furniture Care Instructions: Your newly finished piece has been hand painted with love. It needs up to 21 days for the wax to fully cure. Please treat your piece with love and avoid excess handling during the curing process, if scratched during this period please buff with a soft cloth. To clean your painted and waxed piece, you only need to use a damp soft cloth. Never use a degreaser or chemical cleaner that can effect the wax. Avoid all contact with furniture polish, sprays, excessive water, alcohol and anything acidic. Use coasters and placemats on table surfaces. Please take care with sharp scratchy objects. Most pieces sold at Village Homestead are painted with water-based chalky paints, stained, and waxed or sealed with a polyacrylic product.
