I am considered a flavor specialist here at Spicetopia. We are a specialty tea and spice store. We use all organic and fair trade certified vendors. Stores are a great place to find really reasonable priced spices and teas. Local honey, we carry local jams and wine jelly, also bourbon chocolates. We try to bring in a lot of local vendors. A local chef, Brian Van Dorn. He has a really good barbecue rub. People really People are always asking for it. When you first walk in here, you smell cinnamon, sweet smell in there. We have a wonderful tasting station in the back. We taste all of the honeys. We'll have the balsamics to flavor. We almost always have one or two teas out front for people to taste. There'some sugars and salts that are really wonderful to blend with the biscuits and the cookies that we have in the back. Our business would appeal to anybody who's interested in trying new flavors, something they've never tried before, and anybody who's looking to get a taste of local vintera. We are able to help them find the good spices to use on their chicken dinners when they get home at night. It's been fun for them to maybe elevate the meal a little bit more. Our staff always has great recommendations on what would be good with whatever your favorite entrees are. Basically, I answer customer questions on what you can use all the spices for, what recipes are good, and basically kind of a consultant for whatever they're in the store for. We always want to entice people, and free food is a way to kind of break down that barrier for when new customers come in so they can feel a little bit more at home.
