We specialize in 100% Organic Produce, Natural Grocery, Bulk Foods, Organic Dairy, Frozen Items, Beer & Wine, and a huge selection of Nutritional Supplements. The Truckee location also provides a fresh organic juice bar and the Crescent Cafe soup, salad bar, sandwiches and fresh natural meats and cheeses. Our employees are well-trained, available and knowledgeable. We’re able to help with everything from recipes to special orders to natural healing. Our Supplement department is second to none! We know our herbs! And we can special order almost anything! New Moon Natural Foods is an independent natural food store in the trucky area. We also have a store in Tahoe City and we're a very community-started and community-focused natural food store with the intention of having incredible produce and we also do our best to have varieties and options for people with dietary restrictions. Both locations have incredible produce departments. We have such a variety that's really seasonally focused and it's changing all year round. We pretty consistently get great, Our local food shed is extended up to 100 miles. Tahoe Food Hub is a resource for us to get access to vendors. They are connecting a lot of other farms and growers that might otherwise be less accessible to us. The Crescent Cafe in the trucky is a really unique feature here. We get calls often throughout the day that are just asking about the Crescent Cafe and at both locations we have takeaway food items. We also have a great wine selection at both stores. As a Californian and as a store we'really lucky to be able to see where so much of our food comes from. That creates a really unique relationship between yourself and the food, the seasonality of it, how we then go out and steward the land and interact with natural spaces and waterways because we know it all ties together and impacts really anyone else who's eating produce from California.
