Spencer Main Street Market is a true general store. Just We have bait and bobby pins to wooden with cream. We are a one-stop shop for anybody passing through or here locally in town. There's been six owners at this store since they opened their doors, and it's consistently been a market or a general store for Spencer. I'm actually fifth generation here, and so it was a way we could give back to the community. It would give us an avenue to support local things. It's amazing in our little area how many local vendors and farms and things There is a total of 35 Ohio-based vendors in our store alone, and of those 35, 17 of them are within a 15-mile radius. We absolutely want to be a destination. There are so few true general stores left. We live in an industry of corporate giants and chain stores and ones that want to be every five miles. We are never going to compete full out with those places. However, when you come into the market, you are always going to be greeted by a friendly smiling face. We're going to find that one unique item that's not going to be on a box store shelf. We have Hershey's Hand-Dipped Ice Cream, and that's everyone's favorite. We really We love seeing the kids in here after their baseball games, and they come in, they want a hot dog, they want a bird, or mom and dad want a sandwich, or a rat. We have an option and something for everybody, which we really pride ourselves on. One of our most famous things that we do here is our Roasters Chicken. And then it comes out perfectly golden brown. Everyone in our kitchen is really creative. We are always trying new things. We have a couple crazy different burgers that we have created ourselves here, and one of them is called our Twisted Raspberry Burger. It's Aspen Street Jam Company, raspberry basalmic habanero jam with a little bit of mayo, jalapenos, red onion lettuce, and provolone cheese. It's one of my favorites. Becky's making our pizza rolls, and those are made fresh daily. Any guys that come in for lunch, they want the pizza rolls. We try to do things quickly because we get road crews in here, we get families in here, we get someone driving in that they just need something to grab and go. So we try to do a quick turn around time, but we use fresh ingredients the most that we can. One of my favorite products that we have is smoked salmon spread. It's great on bagels, it's great on crackers. I can eat a whole container for a meal, but it's locally made and it's amazing. We actually love to brag about our 300 square foot beer cave. We have 164 different varieties of beer, and 34 of those are actually craft beers. We even have a create your own six pack area where you can pick your own beers. It's worth coming out and visiting and seeing, taking a step back, taking a breath, and enjoying what small town America has to offer. .
