Blessed Nest

A faith-based small business that specializes in antique furniture, accessories, custom paint jobs, and classes.

This was a class hosted by one of the original owners, Karen, as a date night. After that class, I found myself sneaking back to the Nest, buying paint and pieces to “play” with! I went home and got busy thinking up how to create accessories that matched and–before long–Jen and I were hooked! I started doing my own painting and finally discovered I had a hobby! On the other side of things Jen was creating great accessories and wall decor to compliment. It became the process to an outlet and release for us! During the past couple years our family has had its fair share of challenges, and I used the process to release some stress… before I realized it, I was having my best conversations with God over a brush and a can of paint. The process of creating and transforming became more and more of a spiritual connection and journey, which led us to a new one. And with Jen and I both having previous retail management experience we looked at ways to make the experience better for the client/customer, while still sharing our testimony and passion for Christ and people! As a result, we are ecstatic to have an opportunity to present to you blessed-nest-logo The great news is that Brooke and Karen will still be part of the experience in an artist and teaching capacity. We will continue some of the great things you are used to from the Nest and introduce you to additional product lines and experiences that only this crew can pull off! Jennifer and I are incredibly excited to have the opportunity to purchase the Nest from our friends Brooke and Karen! For us, this talent, creativity, and art that is more than just stuff! For us it is part of a journey we all take. Brad & Jennifer Fenimore

Hi, I'm Heather Anderson and I'm the founder of Bless Nest. In about 2004, I designed the nesting pillow for my best friend Donna who had just had a baby. She was living on the other side of the country in California. I was in New York and I really wanted to do something to be able to support her with the difficulties that she was having. She had to have a cesarean and her body was not cooperating and her baby was not cooperating and she really wanted to be able to breastfeed. And the pillows that her lactation consultant was recommending weren't helping. They were only making things worse. So I designed the nesting pillow to be totally different. So one of the biggest differences is that it's filled with buckwheat hulls. They're They move around So they help to circulate air and they make the pillow totally adjustable to whatever position that she needed to be in. But then when you put pressure on it, it they interlock and provide stable body support for the baby and allow mom to get into the right position. So it worked so well for her and her lactation consultant loved it. So she encouraged us to take it to other moms. So Donna and I have gone into business and over the years we've been able to send them to moms all over the world. They're available on our website at blessedness. com and Amazon and several really great maternity stores, lactation consultants, doulas and other healthcare providers who share our philosophy and supporting moms through tangible resources and education. We would love to hear from you if you have any questions or comments or if there's anything that we can do to make you feel more supported. And thanks for being part of our nest.
