Rocio Romero's LV Prefab Homes are a celebration of glass, light, steel as well as a simple, uncluttered and eco-friendly design. They are manufactured in Missouri into a kit of parts, which are flat-packed and shipped to the home's location. This kit of parts includes posts and beams, exterior wall panels, faux wall panels, roof framing, select connectors, and siding material. A local contractor then takes all the materials and builds the home following the assembly instructions. The homeowners and their contractor are responsible for preparing the site, obtaining permits, landscaping and interior finish work. Homes are estimated to cost about $120 minus $195 per square foot to build. Two of the more recent homes to be completed are the LV and Pope Valley and the LV in Pacifico, California. Both feature the same signature contemporary and simplistic designs, although each are decorated quite differently. Here we show images of the Pope Valley near Napa set in a scenic landscape surrounded by vineyards. The home sits on a small-level gravel plot with a large deck to the front and sheltered with a rock retaining wall to the rear. The tour in Pope Valley is open to the public for $15 a person and the Pacifico tour is private to give potential clients a chance to speak in detail with company representatives.
