ABOUT DAISY’S PEARLS We are a home-based company that offers a mix of freshwater and saltwater pearls and jewelry to our customers. Every oyster opening Live is guaranteed to receive an pearl. If for some reason when opening your oyster Live on Facebook there isn’t a pearl in the oyster, we will allow you to pick another oyster to be opened. When you purchase an unopened oyster to open at home, we cannot guarantee that there will be a pearl inside; it is a very rare occurrence that the oyster does not contain an oyster. We are not killing the oysters! The oysters are not edible. They arrive to us dead. A grain of sand is placed inside the oyster, and the oyster naturally grows the pearl over 5-10 years. They are farmed specifically for this purpose. Akoya (saltwater) pearls are known for their luster and are generally white or cream colored.
