Cunis Candies is an ice cream and candy store located in south suburban South Holland, one block west of the Bishop Ford expressway (159th St. exit). We have been in business since 1933, and has been family owned since its opening. It was opened by great-uncle George Askounis on 79th Street in Chicago, and moved to South Holland in 1971. Now the business is owned by Kathy Biesiada, the original owner's great-niece. Come into Cunis Candies if you're looking for a delicious ice cream treat, a box of chocolates for a gift, or if you're just looking for a snack for yourself. We specialize in over 20 flavors of homemade ice cream, hand-dipped chocolates, freshly roasted nuts, and homemade chocolate covered strawberries.
