Wide World Books & Maps, founded in 1976, has the unique distinction of being the oldest travel-only bookstore in the country. For more than thirty years we have continued to be home to a consortium of travel sages, inspired wanderers, book lovers and cartographic connoisseurs. We carry a full line of travel guidebooks as well as a fascinating assortment of travel literature and fiction. We stock maps from around the world; folding maps to take with you and wall maps to decorate your walls and inspire your travels. We carry luggage from Eagle Creek, Rick Steves and Baggallini and a wide assortment of packs, purses and pouches. Clotheslines, inflatable pillows, TSA locks, money belts...if a traveler needs it, we carry it. Our staff members are all experienced travelers and can offer advice on everything from how to charge your iPod in Albania to whether you should purify your water in Zimbabwe.
