Today we're going to discuss programming your Clean Water Store 7500 Rev 2. 5 Valve. Today we're going to program it for a softener. This could also be used for a TANIN system. So the first thing after you're plugged in your screen will be locked. So to unlock the screen the first thing you need to do is hold the up and down arrow buttons at the same time. You'll hear the system beep. Now it's unlocked and you can go ahead in the programming mode. I should mention there's two levels of programming. This is the basic programming level. The second programming level is what we do here in the shop to actually set the system up for you. So the first thing we're going to do is push this first button here, the little box with the arrow to the left. So this puts you in, you've got company info so you can scroll down time of day. So let'set the time of day. We'll go ahead and push this button and you scroll up and down 1pm, 2pm. Also note if you want to go to AM you need to scroll all the way to 12 and then back it'll go to AM at 1am. So You can set the minutes. Push it again and you go back to your programming screen. Just So here'showing the date and you go ahead and we'll set this for today's month 9, the 28th and it's 2022. Pop back out. Next one's total capacity. So this is set here in the shop. This basically dictates what size your system is. In this case this is a 32k grain system or 32,000 grains that it will remove a hardness. So you can program this to a 40 or 50, whatever your size system is. Again, this will scroll you over and then back to the main screen. Water hardness. This is the one you're going to want to set. So we set this at 15 grains here at the shop. That's a conservative n So you might be able to benefit from finding out what your true hardness is either by testing or if you're on city water you can look up their website. City water is around between 13 and 15 grains. So you can adjust this and adjust your setting there for your water hardness. N This is set here at 4. It's just kind of a standard. These are standard residential units. Regen time. This is the time that the unit's going to do its backwash when it reaches its capacity. We usually set these at 2am. Also note if you have multiple systems you need to change. You need to stagger those by an hour. And always run your softener regen last because it takes a little bit longer than an hour. Okay, so backwash time. This is going to be set for 10 minutes. Brine draw time. This is the amount of time that the brine solution is drawn out of the brine tank. That'set at 60 minutes. Fast rinse. That's where it re-compacts the media. The water goes down on the top of the media. That's 8 minutes. And then your brine refill time. So this is going to be dependent on your brine line flow control that's installed and your system size. But this amount you'll basically get the correct amount of water back in your brine. So you're going to need to look at your guide for that correct time but we set it here at the shop so you shouldn't need to change that. Okay, max days for regen. 30 days. That means if you're on vacation and you're not home for 30 days or you don't use enough of the water, it will regenerate 30 days just to make sure the resin bed is cleaned out properly and doesn't compact. The daily usage lot. Log, that's kind of a neat thing. It'll just show you what your water usage was for the last several days. And peak usage is the same thing. Just kind of for information only. Okay, so once you've got all your set parameters set, you'll hit that second button with the finger pushing up It'showing 1300 gallons left before regen and the current flow rate is 0 GPM. So that is basically it for the standard programming that you at home should do. If you did want to get into the master programming, there's instructions in your startup guide for that. But I'll quickly show you how you can do that. You'll unplug the system, let it sit for a minute or two. Plug it back in, push the first three buttons. This puts you into the master programming mode. Then you come in here, it still has the time of day and the date, but you'll see there's program type, regen cycles. This is where you set your control valve up for a filter or a softener or an air valve. So If you're going to do that, we recommend that you reach out to one of our service techs and have them help you walk through that because if you have the thing set up wrong, obviously it won't function correctly. And that concludes today's 7500 Rev 2. 5 softener control valve programming. Thanks and have a good day.
