multiple vape in smoke shops across Bell County are shuttered after a massive law enforcement operation. Police say the stores were selling products mislabeled as legal hemp when they actually contained illegal levels of marijuana. The raids involved dozens officers, including the FBI in months of investigation. 6 News reporter Julianna Jackson is live at one of the stores that experiences warrant and shares one store's reaction and how they say they are in their legal limit. Julianna. For seven vape shop owners in the area, they watched police load up vans with almost all of their inventory. Now they're wondering if their businesses will survive. How many boxes with the legal products that they are taking out of my store seven vape shops hit simultaneously. But what brought police they say it was because of tips from citizens and fellow officers about suspicious inventory from these shops. Officers went undercover and labeled as legal hemp from multiple stores. But when police tested them at state crime labs, a different story. The results.
