We have been a family business since 1992. The leather shop has moved from time to time only to gain more space and provide more services. We first started out at Gibraltar Trade Center on the weekends and quickly grew until we had to get a full time, semi-permanent location outside of the Trade Center. Now we are looking to grow one more time. Of course that means we will have to move again. This time will be for good. Just a short ride southwest of Detroit, you will find a true leather shop. AM Leather has been in business for 30 years and understands what a rider needs. From leather repair on bags, jackets and vests to sewing custom patches. AM Leather should be on your list of places to visit when looking for new gear. In 1992 we opened a small flea market operation about 150 square feet, 10 by 10, 10 by 15. Then we only sold buckles and belts and about four to five months ahead of that. After that we started selling biker apparel and from that point in a few short years we grew into just a full biker store. We added sewing and repairs along with it so we grew into an actual business from that. We do full service embroidery shop.
