Hi Fi Lounge

Music for me is everything, whether live or recorded, it really connects on an emotional level. A lot of your memories are associated to certain genres or certain songs and when you hear that song it takes you straight back to that era. In all honesty I've got no idea where my love of music came from. It seemed to always have been with me. I think looking back and trying to think, it was probably going to my first Bruce Springsteen gig in 1985 Independence Day to see 80,000 people all absolutely loving the experience and the happiness and the joy and I think that stayed with me forever. The setting up Hi-Fi Lounge was probably around about 10 years ago. I had a bit of midlife crisis, fancy the change, always loved Hi-Fi. Looking around we realised we couldn't afford to be on the high street so we looked for a cheaper option and found the building that we started off in that many people know that came here early. Loads of parking, easy access for everybody so that worked out really well and it offers a very relaxed environment to demo your Hi-Fi. I think the ethos of Hi-Fi Lounge has always been set out to be relaxed, no pressure sales we just, guys come in, we give them all the options, it's down to them to choose. Those all about putting the right components in front of the customer to make a good sounding system. All the different parts will give different sounds and it's up to them to choose the presentation thereafter. We're lucky we've got customers from all ages really, we've got young guys coming in by their first system, we've got middle aged customers, we've got older customers that have always been into Hi-Fi.
