Throughout the video, you will see short clips and pictures that show how much shade is casted onto our solar panels throughout different times of the day. So on the other side of our house there is complete light and that is where we would have expected the solar panels to be installed because that is where light reaches for most of the day. You will see that the solar panels are covered about 50% by the trees. At t However for the rest of the day they have been covered and shaded by the large trees. These large trees were already there when the solar panels were installed. Now it is 4pm. The solar panels are covered slightly. There is sun on there but there is still some shade on there. Again at t Again there is a lot of shade where we would want the solar panels to receive full light so they can generate the amount of energy that were promised. Because the solar panels only have full light for one hour or two hours of the day we generated not nearly enough to cover how much usage we have. That is definitely not what were promised.
