Blue Moon Camera and Mac We're the link from the earliest photograph to pretty much anyt Yes, all the cameras in the store are film cameras, analog cameras. And today we're going to go to the extremes with one of the biggest cameras in the store and one of the smallest. But let'start with the giant. What are we looking at here? T It's on a huge stand that is very mobile, but t And so big that they had to put it on wheels to build a slide. T No, it is not. But at the other end of the spectr It's a camera that was designed to reproduce doc So it makes a negative that is 8mm by 11mm, so very tiny, but We used to have t Why do we need it today, do you t I always And for me, I'more in the moment shooting a film camera and I'm not looking at the settings of the camera, I'm not reviewing the images, I'm shooting and I'm back into the scene. Digital clearly has a convenience factor, but with analog and film, it almost feels Does it not? It does, and it makes the work more meaningful. You can fire off easily a thousand digital images, cold down 900 of them. That is exactly my ratio, by the way. Whereas with film, you're going to be more careful. That throwaway quality of digital products in general, sort of erodes somet Does it not? Where's the film and the analog kind of restores somet That's a p Well, perfect. I wasn't looking for it. Everyt I took my big camera with me, my big DSLR, barely even used it because I was kind of on the go and moving around. And the convenience of it, I hadn't even thought about that. Yeah, the other thing is I mean, to me, it's a burden that I snapped 900 photos because I'm not getting rid of them all. As opposed to taking 24 maybe two with them.
