I like taking something old or tossed away & bringing it new life. I had an old, splintering cheese board that I painted a verse on & hung it on my wall. I put a picture up on Instagram & had a few people message me to ask if I could be commissioned to make one for them & thus, Creations was born! I find a lot of joy in taking something that would be tossed away & giving it a new life & purpose. There is so much beauty in that! I work on a variety of materials depending on your needs. But I have a special place in my heart for distressed & reclaimed wood, vintage & antique frames, & anything old & cracking that could use some love. Part of my art is preserving the character in these old pieces, while giving it a new purpose. While I strive to make everything as perfect as possible when I paint, I am only human. ;-)
