Mistletoe Market

Here's the first reality check of the season. Mistletoe Marketplace returns to Jackson. That's right. Mistletoe chair, Rachel Balunios, is here to tell us what we can expect at t Welcome. Thank you. Thank you for having me. We're so grateful for your continued support. Thank you. Now let me ask you the theme is always one of my favorite t And it's a big deal because I know you decide on that theme really ahead of time. Yes. Oh, yes. So tell us. Over a year ago. Well, it's really hard to come up with a theme that hasn't been done in the 43-year But t And you will be transported into the land of the Nutcracker. So sugar pl And it's going to be so magical. My goodness. Oh, wow. Now t What do you all use these funds for? So the funds raised from Mistletoe directly support the League of the Junior League of Jackson. And our goal is to promote early literacy, health, and the social development of youth and teens in the metro area. And tell us some of the projects. I mean, you have so many projects. We've been trying to get some so that we would have some for our show that we're doing as we always do. But tell us some more about the projects. So we have over 30 community projects and initiatives. And our ultimate goal through the league is to improve the So to do that, we really invest in the c So we mentor elementary school c We do backpacks for kids. We deliver backpacks filled with school supplies, local elementary schools. We really focus on giving them access to nutritional, healthy foods. And we really work on building their self a scene through all of our community partners. So good. Well, of course, there's a shopping there. But you always have special events. What are some of the special events? So it kicks off next Wednesday, November 1st, with our preview gala, w So that is the fun kickoff to the whole event. And then it goes into the next two days where we have our brunches that we sold out. And we have our girls night out on Thursday night, w You better get your tickets quick. And then Friday, we have our luncheon that our guest speaker is Joey Fatone from NSYNC. And we are so excited. Sold out yet? Not sold out. But getting close. Getting close. Friday afternoon, we have our tween event. And then that night, we have our Friday night party. And it ends on Saturday with our c That is wonderful. All right, how many vendors, and do we have any new vendors? We have over 160 merchants from all across the country. I'm talking from New Jersey to California, all the way down south. And we have tons of new merchants, too. So they are so excited to be here. They're thrilled. OK, the most important t How can they get the tickets? Yes. OK, mistletoemarketplace. com.
