My artistically driven lifestyle products are durable and one-of-a-kind. My designs are a mix of street style and beach living, blended with extreme utility. Rais Case promises quality construction and fashion forward designs. I believe it’s not just about using sustainable materials, it’s about a product that sustains. For me, style is about finding things you love and using them over and over. My hope is that my bags, pillows and accessories will earn that special spot in your life. I am proud to be part of an emerging movement of US-based designers who are making handmade products that are built to last. HOW IT STARTED In August 2010 It started with the simple desire to find a stylish laptop case amidst a sea of sameness, and it slowly blossomed into the vibrant brand you see today. It started with a prototype and then I partnered with a local seamstress. Over time I developed a series of bags to meet my needs and the needs of my friends. With each design, new features were introduced: a strap here, the perfect zipper there, and hardware that created an edge and durability. What seemed an effort in creating something effortless and chic became a study of where quality engineering meets fashion and art. Repurposed materials like burlap, leather and brightly colored blankets create a rich canvas for my patterns. I have managed to build Rais Case slowly while teaching art full-time at Canyon Crest Academy. I love the challenge of inspiring students to find and pursue their creative passions. And for me, Rais Case is a way of walking the walk.
