Hello, my name is Tommy and today I'm going to be introducing a very delicious and unique dessert called funnel sticks. I think we can all agree that funnel cake is an old American favorite. What we've done with funnel sticks, we've taken that old favorite and we've just made it simple. We've made it fast to produce and we've made it very profitable. Fry dough products are loved by millions of people and our funnel sticks will be perceived by your customers as simply funnel cake on a stick. They bring people of all ages together. They unite that family with true tradition and they're loved by people young and old. We understand that to be considered as a signature dessert, that item has to bring a lot to the table. It has to be so much more than just delicious. It has to be unique. It has to appeal to people of all ages. This video is going to take you step by step through the process of preparing that perfect funnel stick. I'm also going to give you some great tips and ideas on how to increase sales and how to increase that excitement by offering some of our delicious flavors of glazes and toppings. Funnel sticks are a patent-pending product and these are the components that you'll be ordering through our company, TNT Confectionery. Our wooden sticks are wider and thicker than the average stick. What that does is that helps prevent slipping and sliding of the product. We have our heavy card stock decorated trays which are perfect for a hot product. We have a convenient clamshell takeout pack. Our custom flavored high temp glazes and last but not least are our funnel bread sticks. These are a proprietary type of bread that prevents oil absorption. And why that's important to you is that un These can be cooked in any fryer with any other food item. That's huge. Your entire prep process is to insert the wooden stick into a pre-baked funnel bread stick. This step can easily be done in advance to keep your production time efficient. The only special piece of equipment you will need is something to suppress the funnel sticks to keep them from floating. Place the funnel sticks into any fryer at 350 degrees for 1 minute to 1 and a half minutes. Once the funnel sticks are golden brown, move them either to a holding pan or directly into the decorated trays. Now here's the fun part. We're going to start with a plain funnel stick. Some customers will request powdered sugar only. But always remember, the sweetness comes from the glaze, not the bread. Even when a customer orders a plain funnel stick, always add some of the vanilla with the powdered sugar. Now let's demonstrate a crowd favorite. Cinnamon sugar right out of the fryer at a good amount of cinnamon sugar and then top with our vanilla glaze. Believe it or not, any of these funnel sticks made with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar in our glazes are actually only 200 calories. Now let's be a little more creative. How about chocolate and caramel? And let's add some crushed heaped toffee pieces. How about some cotton candy with sprinkles or colored sugars? Here's a candied apple funnel stick using our sour apple and a delicious salted caramel with crushed peanuts. And what about a delicious banana split with chocolate glaze and then we're going top it with coconut. Have fun. The combinations are endless. Funnel sticks can be whatever you want them to be. You can keep it simple by offering just our standard glazes, chocolate, strawberry, caramel, vanilla, or have fun with our custom glazes for seasonal flavors or flavors of the month. The choices are endless. Your guests will love funnel sticks and your employees are going to love making them. Again, my name is Tommy and I'd
