Fierce Spirit is an online clothing boutique that’s not actually about the clothes (although we think they’re kind of lovely). Fierce Spirit was started with one end goal: to take 100% of the profits to fuel our larger passion project of buying commercial property and providing low cost rent to female business owners to allow them to follow their dreams. We hope to inspire and support female businesses as well as provide coaching and mentoring to help ensure their growth and success. Long term, we also hope to be able to provide seed money to help with start ups as well. A little Shark Tank and The Profit combined! (If you don’t watch those shows, you’re totally missing out!) The change of seasons always brings a change in style trends and when you're shopping for those trends with fierce spirit you're also creating business opportunities for women right here in central Illinois. Sarah O'Shea created the fierce spirit online boutique and she's here to explain the connection. Thank you. So let'start with trends for women this spring. Is there a theme that's running currently? There's no getting rid of floral and some of those things that we just love. You're seeing a lot of mixed patterns and really amazing fabrics and things Some things that we've continued to see that are just tried and true they're just barreling on. I did take a peek online and it looks You're dressed up but not overdressed so that you can still become fee and casual. Absolutely and that's kind of when I'm buying for the boutique. I am really drawn as a mom of young kids and a business owner. I want to look put together but I actually don't want to try that hard to be put together. So I'm really drawn to styles that women can throw on and live their life whether they're being a mom and then they're running I want them to feel comfortable and confident anything that they put on. Sounds great. Now you brought some models with you with some demonstrations for us. Yes I'm gonna bring Megan see in. I brought her in so she could kind of show some of the trends of the off the shoulder. S Also kind of playing on the light color pop for the spring. It's just light and bright and fun and really just easy to throw on. I brought another Megan with me. My blonde and my brunette Megan brought both of them just to show This is that those mixed patterns that we talked about. Still that pop of floral that's not going anywhere. But again were talking about how soft the fabric is. It's really easy to throw on. Dress it down with flat sandals. Dress it up with heels to make Whatever's Also very pretty. Thank you ladies. So when you have these mixed patterns that looked fantastic but if I go into my closet and I find a striped blouse and a floral skirt it's not gonna look so good. How do I won't lie I'm the same way. That's why I'm drawn to pieces that have kind of done the work for me because I know a lot of women are in the same both that maybe we don't know how to pair things together but I know when I'm buying I look for lines and I look for bestsellers that have done some of that hard work for us. That way we're not having to overthink it or not do it because we're I feel I started around the same time you started the company. How is it developed over the last year? Outstanding well com
