Hello Vintage

Hi, I'm Carolyn Lu and this is Hello Vintage. When I was younger, I would hold garage sales for my neighbors. I would take 50% of the profits. I was starting that when I was in third grade. I basically did that till high school. Then I had the idea, wait a second, what if I bought some things to sell? I noticed that there was a market for this. As I got older, fast fashion got more popular. I realized this was a really good alternative to buying clothes new. It's just a little bit of work. You can really change something. Sustainability is really a collaborative process just in general. That's where the magic of me and my team come in. They have skills that complement mine but are necessarily identical to mine. Part of the beauty of running a business is being able to pick who's in your life, being able to pick who's on your team and really formulating the best team possible. This is a really exciting time to be a woman entrepreneur. It is so important that we are visible, that we're out there, that we can continue to inspire and support each other. I'm still very early on in my entrepreneurial career, but I am working really, really hard every single day so that one day I'll be able to inspire others. I am very excited for what's to come.
