At the farmers market in Marietta on Saturdays many artists sell their work. Let's check them out. What's your name? My name is Catherine, Catherine Chope. How did you find this farmers market? I found it through somebody else. I was volunteering at a community studio and someone else was volunteering and someone else also did So I got the contact information from that person. So it's really just word of mouth. What's it's honestly You get to choose and it'super convenient because you can sign up only a week in advance. Whereas other markets you have to sign up And just the environment, I'm always going to make sales and it's just And you get to see the same sort of artists around so you get to build relationships with them. What items are most sold? For me I sell a lot of mugs, a lot of vases, right now berry bowls. Seasonal items do really good. Can customers find you here every Saturday? So not every Saturday because pottery is one of those things that But it takes longer than a week for me to have new items. So I try to be here at least once a month, if not twice a month. There have been weekends I've been every week but it's really difficult. What's your name? David Costin. How did you find this farmer's market? Well as it happens my wife curates this market. So I kind of had an in and people joke that I don't pay to be here but I pay for it every day of my life. What's it Selling art here is really nice, very fun. My primary is I And if they buy something great, if they don't, I got to meet some good people. What are your most popular items? I would say my most popular item is probably the University of Georgia stadi Probably like the Strand around here, Mercedes-Benz stadi I like to do the old architecture but everybody wants their stadi Can customers find you here every Saturday? Almost every Saturday. Unless I have What's your name? Anthony Hall. How did you find this farmers market? Well actually my wife found it and my wife sows African print clothes for little girls. And I was just coming to help her out, to get the kids out the way so she can sell her things and then eventually. I wasn't doing art at the time but I started doing art and she encouraged me and she was And so I started doing it and it grew from there. What's it Oh it's beautiful. I love it here. All the other marketers, they've become family really for the ones that I know. But it continues to grow and there's new vendors that come. But it's a beautiful market, very friendly. What are your most sold items? Probably my Braves art. The Cungya pieces are a hot seller here so I just continue to keep up with the Braves and all the big moments that happen with the Braves and I'll just recreate it. Can customers find you here every Saturday? Just about every Saturday unless there's a big market going on. There's a big market going on in Smyrna and sometimes in Accord or somewhere.
