It all began in 2000 as a frustrated wedding invitation designer in London wanted to add fun, whimsical, and feminine touches to her invitations in an industry becoming dominated by graphic designs. “Letterpress, motifs and monograms were fine for some but I wanted to give my customers more,” said Amy - then Director and lead designer of The Silver Nutmeg in the UK. “I started seeking out non-traditional ways to embellish plain cardstock and I eventually found the method I currently use to make these beautiful flowers for Konstantin & Kitty.” Amy has been using these flowers to embellish everything from wedding invitations to her dog’s leash to anything that wasn’t nailed down in her own home. The flowers have changed and become more versatile. With time and a desire to move away from stationery and events, Amy founded Konstantin & Kitty in 2014 with the aim of focusing primarily on these beautiful, visually stunning flowers that are manufactured in the USA. Most recently Amy has decided to join this shiny new thing called Shopify and launched Konstantin & Kitty as an online store in July 2015 in order to bring these fun, whimsical and feminine creations to a larger audience. “We at Konstantin & Kitty proudly present you with our flowers that were small seeds planted years ago but are now in full bloom.
