Sam was a firm believer in listening to what his customers had to say. That tradition continues today. But now, it doesn’t have to end when you leave the store. Through Facebook, we’re able to talk to you, find out what’s on your mind and let you know what we’re up to. It’s just another way we’re working to give the millions of families who shop at Walmart more of what they love—ways to save money and live better.
Our spirit of giving food drive gets underway today with plenty of places for you to donate all across the state and help provide food to thousands of people this holiday season. Erin Phalo is live at the Walmart up in Hooksit and Erin there are several choices for people looking to give right? Or you get a live interview as well. I do, I do. We are so excited to have on board this year for this year's food drive Walmart stores and I'm joined by Stephen Lee and we're so excited to have Walmart on board helping this effort. Thank you very much. We appreciate WMER asking us. We have 27 locations in the state and we're going to do everything we possibly can to make these three days as valuable as possible. So what we're doing is we have $5, $10, $15 bags. Customers can come in, purchase them, go through the registers, have them at the drop off and support the food bank. We're excited for this weekend and we're also going to push it past this weekend and continue through the holiday season and start our deliveries next week. That is wonderful. Now all of the deliveries from this Hooksit Walmart location go to a local food pantry, right? Yes, yes. So every week we're actually donating to the food pantries but we don'tie in the customers maybe as much as we should. So this is our kickoff weekend. We're going to do it all the way through the holiday season and every week bring them right over to the Hooksit food bank. And all 27 stores. 27 stores. So again, thank you. We're happy to be on board and 27 stores strong. We should be able to create you. I know. And it's wonderful that you're going to continue it after this weekend even though the food drive just goes for the weekend. Yep. So right through the holiday again, food bank needs help not just in December but January, February, March or hard months as well. So we're excited to get as much as we can and to support them for the next three months. All right, Steven, thank you so much for joining us. And we should also mention that it's not just Walmart stores but also this year you can go to all Hannaford stores in New Hampshire as well. We're very happy to welcome Hannaford into this effort. We have had a great relationship with Shaw's and participating Shaw's also are sticking with us this year for the food drive. So we do hope that you'll come out this weekend and as you're doing your groceries shopping at these locations that you will also help support your local food pantry. Back to you, Sean. All right.
