LA Baby Show

So thank you for meeting with us. So I want to just ask you a little bit about how you started the show. Ten years ago, I was the publisher of New York Family Magazine and what we wanted to do was actually start to meet parents sooner. So we started running smaller pregnancy events, which eventually became the New York Baby Show and now ten years later it's one of the largest cons Four years ago, we started to expand into other cities and now t We've done three years in C Wow, so it's a traveling baby show. What is the first step? So when you were t Sure. So obviously they have a lot of questions and not only about what type of car seats they want, but there's other questions about breastfeeding and will my baby ever sleep? Will I ever sleep? So we wanted to make sure that we had an educational platform as well as being able to have some fun and have a shopping experience as well. There's a lot of car seat companies. You're going to buy a car seat. W So we try to get as many of the car seat companies here and we'll do a seminar about car seats and safety. Of course, there's again different kinds for different people, but they'll get to meet the folks that actually make them and they can make the decision on their own. Was it difficult to get t Everyt But I t Right? So you're not the first one to have a c And there's folks that do know. We have a lot of experts here. I t Do you have kids also? Ironically, I do not have c I joke around about that with my ex I've actually never changed a diaper in my life. But we run the largest cons Wow, okay. What are the t So there is the gear section of our show really is very popular. But we also have some great seminars that actually will help people navigate the show as well. Our parenting essential, again, run by Natalie Diaz, she gives you a good overview of, there's a lot of products out there, some of them you're going to need. And other ones they might have it be on your wish list. And focus on the ones that you actually need first. Right. So you're a baby expert now. I am not the baby expert. Now I t Have them come in and then make sure we surround ourselves with the people that have all the information and have all the great brands out there. So I'more of a connector. Very cool.
