You can use the adjustable ruler guide to set the depth of where you want to make your punch, which can help you stay consistent if you're making multiple punches. The Croppadile punches holes of two sizes. One eighth or three sixteenths of an inch, so you can adjust accordingly to whatever kind of embellishment you're adding.
