My name is Lori Goff and I'm the owner of Jilly Socks and such. I came to Lincoln to go to college a million years ago probably. And I just knew Lincoln didn't have a sock store and I wanted to do something after I retired from being a school teacher and this is my little gig. The last couple of years I've expanded from just socks to gifts also. I carry about seven or eight different local vendors. This last year has been my best year which is really amazing considering it's been COVID for an entire year. It was a wonderful feeling to have to go out onto the sidewalk and say, we've reached our capacity. Do you mind waiting for a few minutes and then as somebody would leave the next person would come in and I was a little nervous about that and didn't want to ruffle anybody's feathers but everybody was awesome and so understanding. I'm in here all the time and I have been for four years and I still love coming to work every day. It's really fun when customers come in and they'll just giggle as they read the socks. It is a little bit quirky and it's just different.
