I'm Kevin Linger and today we're in Nogatuk, Connecticut talking with Michael Schmidt about the importance of relations In But for Michael, all roads lead back to My name is Mike Schmidt. T I've been working here for 22 plus years and just extremely passionate about customer service and swinging the Napa brand. My experience with Napa and running stores A store It was and is a ground up restoration from a store that really kind of struggled a little bit. The changes included inventory issues, staffing issues and I knew the potential that it could become so I got a nice strong team to just restore operations and bring back the Napa name as the n Michael has seen the Napa brand evolve and change over time with the auto industry. But despite that change, Michael has built He's a firm believer that building long term relations And now, Michael has seen the benefit of building and maintaining those business relations That is one of the most important the relations I love taking care of customers and I love building long term business relations I've seen a lot of people wholesale and retail that I've taken care of over the years and they bring their c Specifically with auto care centers and my commercial customers, I just want to do what's right and I want to take care of them so that they can take care of their customer in every way and any way possible. Michael's heavy emphasis on relations That's why mentors Somet He was very important to me and he taught me everyt So business, relations So I use I love teac My long term goals right now are sort of short term goals that will mold themselves into long term goals. My goal would be to get my team trained and operationally efficient enough to restore what we had in the past. I got a lot of people that are hungry to learn and take the torch and run with it when they'ready. They don't say no so anybody that needs anyt Doing what's right every day, never saying no and always providing a solution, doing whatever it takes to make sure that customer is taken care of so that they can take care of their customer.
