We create specialty wooden bow ties. Wonderfully unique and stylish.
Character, Design, and Integrity. Wood Knot Wilson (W.K.Wilson) is a fictitious character inspired by a real life neighbor, mentor and dear friend of ours, Max L. Moser. You might not know the name of Max Leslie Moser, but he is not someone you would ever forget once you have had the pleasure of his acquaintance. He is rail thin with an iconic curled up white mustache, and at least once a week you will see him dressed to the nines, many times with a fedora, but always with his ties; large, colorful, wild, wonderful bow ties. Inspired by Max, and given his blessing, we strive to create products that are not only unique and full of character, but will also last the tests of time. Our wooden bow ties are laser engraved, and cut. The pieces are then cleaned, some designs will receive an extra finish, then the pieces are put together by hand. The designs are limited, from 5 to 50 of each tie, and are numbered so you know that you are 1 of a very few who will ever be able to claim ownership. We love creating with wood, because it adds another level of uniqueness, as the grains, and even the wood knots add their wonderful character to the final product. Also because our ties are laser cut out of wood there is that amazing, subtle smell that unique to our products.
Good news for drivers this morning. Repairs are now complete on the Northbound Lane of the General W. K. Wilson Bridge, also known as the Dolly Parton Bridge. Both lanes of the Northbound Bridge are now open for traffic. The Northbound Bridge was closed for repairs following a fiery crash that killed a trucker back in May. The Southbound Bridge will be open to two lanes after temporary concrete barrier rails are removed. That's expected to take about a week. The WKYT News is live from the WKYT News.
