These two gems are exactly the same pattern, just using different gems. This one has a bigger heart and using the bigger stone made this gem quite a bit bigger than this one. So that's an important thing to think about when you are making gems for children is how much space do you actually have available. So I'm going to make one more gem for you in this pattern today making it even a little more squat so that it won't climb up so much on the child's head. So you're going to need your gems that you're going to use today. You can buy them anywhere, the dollar store and we're going to apply a nice thin bead of silicone down the center for the gem and where my outside little gems are going to sit at the top. We'll make a little dollop on each side and just make sure all the pet silicone or medical grade silicone is touching. If you haven't made gems with me before please go back and view the getting started video. So here we're going to make sure that the gem is nice and lined up through the center line. Add your outside gems. I'm going to use the smaller one here so that it doesn't climb up so much and get too tall. I need a little bit of silicone in the center to sit proud so that the pearl I'm going to set there will take hold of it. So to scoop that up or add a tiny bit with your skewer set this in there. I always It makes it look prettier when you don't see the hole from the front or the top. The adults are usually looking from the top so I try to put the holes for these seed beads to the side. You could add another little extra bead here if you wanted to. I can show you how to do that also. So we'll take a little tiny bit of silicone on your skewer and touch it there and another little tiny bit and touch it there. The only danger of this unless you can get the glue that I mentioned in the getting started video is that you don't want to make these gems too heavy or they'll end up coming off the child's face. So you want them pretty but not heavy. And so here is a little tiny bead and we'll set that right on the side. Then they can sit on top so you can layer the gems if you Also now just double check that everything's running right down the center. There that looks pretty. Thanks for coming. Bye.
