Hey, T Alright, so t It's a shop I've been at a lot of times for miniature games, and really the first time for card games. And I should note t Everyone that participated brought their own. Now you've been following my journey. T So pretty early on I decided I'm going to build a Blitz Lexi deck. I built mine mainly focusing around ice, some of those frostbites. I mean the lightning build does look pretty neat, but I wanted to take a little different approach and see if I can kind of make somet I'm going to get around to making a video about t But let's get into the details of the games. Six people showed up for t I mean it's a little lesser known But the event space was great, and the people were even better. My first game was against Jermiah, my co-host and spell store miniatures. Now it's funny, it's the one who got me into t So t And since t Spoiler, all the games were friendly, so that was really cool. He was playing the Warrior Kasai. T I can post that as well once that gets going. And I t I mean, maybe stuck's the wrong word. So hopefully they're all good games. I need to still watch those. And again, you can too once I get them up. Due to store policy, they didn't want any audio, so there's none of that there. I'll just kind of give a little bit of commentary maybe on it and then let you watch it. I was able to win the role and I chose to go first. I figure with t Had a little bit of back and forth in the beginning. I got a couple damage in there, then he was able to swing for quite a bit on me. Just the fact those Centauri Sabers, I believe they were, So that really kind of buffed I was just getting Alright, not so great. But I was able to kind of eat back down into There's a few times where our life totals were the same. So I was really sweating it a little bit. But he kind of admitted to me, he made a mistake in what he arsonaled because I had a bow attack. It wasn't really an attack or with a weapon that he could do somet So ultimately, as able to get through, he kind of blocked some of I was able to block it out and survive though. And then shortly follow up with a few attacks on my own, get some good dominated in there. The Frostbites were kind of messing with them. And then to finally finish off, I was running the Mark of Lightning arms. T Now it kind of worked for So again, when he went down to three, maybe he would have blocked a little bit differently. But I t I was quite worried though that I was going to lose t And there was a time where I bricked up my hand. There was no attack actions in there. So I'm glad I had the hope merchants hood in order to kind of reshuffle that in overall. And again, another great game with a lot of back and forth could have gone either way. I t Next up in the second game, I was against Justin and he was running a Briar deck. And what intrigued me about t He's running a little bit of rune chant and then earth. I t It's a decent combo, but I'm not sure if it worked out the best. I'll get to it a minute. It does T I got to go first again, w Great because I can start loading up those cards. I don't I didn't lean into the arcane protection as much on my equipment. So I just kind of ran the same I did on the first game. I was able to get in an early lead with a few dominated arrows and just start w He was building those rune chance up, w But again, the frostbites were kind of messing with them. However, when I thought I was pretty safe, he came in with a huge hand of, I t I mean, just, ah. So I threw, I blocked five of it because I wanted to still be able to crack back on my turn and I had some cards to help me do that and to kind of get that tempo back. And since I'd already kind of taken that early lead, I was able to take and so he basically kind of leveled the game back out. But at that point, I was able to just kind of start rolling some more turns into He kept swinging. He's able to create some rune chance and then swing in with rune chance for mainly So he's able to kind of w But again, I was just able to play enough and get that tempo back in my favor that I took I believe I ended that game with seven or eight life, but still feel those cards could have gone a little different, could have gone a little different. And again, t We had a few minutes to kind of talk about some of the other ways to build Briar and discuss a little bit of that rune chant idea of mixing in there. And again, I t I've been playing with Briar lightning myself. I t So that gives me my second win of the day. Then going into the t I heard before at the pre-release events that he runs Kano and that he's kind of foiling it out because while he really He also knows the rules pretty well. So I was definitely leaning on As t And this one, because I was playing Kano, I knew I needed to I threw out the merchants hope hood, a little bit of risky moves as I did kind of use it. It was useful in my last two games. We rolled, we both rolled, I think four, and then we both rolled And then I finally rolled T And being on 15 life, I needed to kind of start wiggling You already have that little bit of lead. And just hearing Kano and knowing Another t Again, we're kind of just messing a little bit with it. He did get some clever go arounds on how to figure out how to kind of clear that and not feel as bad about spending Just when he's able to draw, opt cards, do all that sort of stuff. I was just c He was blocking out our eye, he would take some hits and then swinging at me and wiggling me down, especially when he was able to get I mean, six damage is just Yeah, I ended up taking that one because I And again, I kind of have that built in lead. So why not use it? T I had He was reacting to a frostbite token if he wanted to use it. Took up some time. He was But eventually he just couldn't overcome my nine life that I had, especially when I had a card in hand, I could have blocked two, I had a resource. So even on two attacks, I could have blocked, I could have blocked three arcane damage. And because it was dominated, I just don't Plus again, my mark of lightning, I could have broke that dealt that one damage through, plus a little bit on there and basically finished T But that gave me my t So I was really excited. I mean, three wins in a royal on then game four was against Oz again, played T And so that's alright. So in s I ended up being in top place and was able to get my cold foil so really cool, especially considering I was playing Lexi. T I was using it all day long. Then also as their price support, they give out a pack of unlimited for every win you have. Since I had the three wins, I got my three packs and I chose to go with arcane rising mainly because there might be some good gear in there. I'm kind of hoping for maybe command and conquer, art of war, arcane school cap would be sweet and just some of those nice Kano cards in there. And the three of a kind, w So Otherwise, that is the recap on my event. My first armory constructed. I go in, I take it down. That's exciting. Not sure I'll get into play anytime soon, but we'll see. Alright, so let's crack these packs. Alright, first one. Not An aether spindle. Next up, take cover. Not bad for a lexie deck. Take aim, again, and foil rifting. Spellblade assault. There, if I go with that briar deck. Oh, that's not too bad. Too bad it's an azalea special. Knock the death w I mean, I'd be normally happy about it if I could play lexie with it, but hey, that'still a cool one. And a foil w Alright, well, not And now maybe take a look at azalea and somet
