Redemption Fashion Show focuses on redeeming textiles. The best designs will be selected and sold under new Salvation Army brand called "REDEEMED".
The Redemption Fashion Show will be introducing The Salvation Army's new clothing line called "Redeemed". This brand offers a new way to view fashion to attract the market of eco-couture by using re-purposed and recycled donated clothing. This fashion show will feature some of the greatest fashion minded designers within the Tri-State area. All clothing is custom designed, produced from recycled/donated clothing, and re-purposed exclusively for the Redemption Fashion Show. The Redemption Fashion Show will take place at the heart of The Salvation Army's processing center and we can't wait to amaze you! The show will display high fashion, ready to wear and creative artistic designs from multiple designers. All designs will be created from re-purposed and donated items from The Salvation Army with the sole intention to inspire and inform the greater community about eco-couture fashions. The "Redeemed" label will brand items that have been recreated from the waste stream of used clothing and accessories that otherwise would end up in landfills. The "Redeemed" brand will serve as a micro-industry incubator for individuals, organizations and communities to partner with The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center of Connecticut. This year's show will be hosted by Renee DiNino from iHeart Media and June Archer. The music will be provided by DJ Craig G and DJ Token. Make up will be sponsored by talented makeup artists from Tainted! All proceeds will benefit The Salvation Army Hartford Adult Rehabilitation Center.
