Time for decor is about three years old and we brought somet We take the old in our DIY studio and blend it with the new. So when you walk in, you have brand new furniture, you have our found pieces from Europe, you have painted furniture that we've painted and then you walk through another door and you're in our DIY studio where we create, gather, and really have fun. Now the painting is kind of your bread and butter, so to speak, and that's you sell the tools for it, but you also have some finished pieces. You wanted us to get started on some projects to show really how easy it is. Sure, it is very easy. T No pressure, Shelly, t Oh, somebody's house. So they are asking us to do somet So we're going to have Shelly just take her brush. All right. And t It is the n I actually love t It's a Boston blue, it's one of our favorite colors. And now with chalk paint, talk to us about the You don't have to sand before you do it, it can go on pretty much any surface. Correct, you don't have to sand, you don't have to prime, you have to clean it really well. Sometimes we have to go back in and sand our lines out of the paint, but again, it's all, if you're a heavy-handed painter or a light-handed painter, I'm a heavy-handed painter, my business partner Deb is a light-handed painter, we can do a project together. Okay. So, but we can paint fabric, you're going to be painting some fabric. T And Shelly's painting just an oak cabinet door. T We can leave it clear, but t So, and then what we can do is show that client that they can use wallpaper, one of our spiker mats that lay great on the floor, they're great for, in your aisle or near your kitchen, your back door, it's not a rug, it doesn't catch. And one of the other t All right. I want to peel, can I peel wallpaper? Sure, you can peel wallpaper. All right. I've never asked to do t So, t You can feel free to start painting that if you want. There's no glue whatsoever. What? You can take it down, it doesn't stick. The only t If I can do it, you can do it. Dev is going to have some classes on how to cut it. Okay. And actually it doesn't even come in sheets. So, t You said that a lot of people use it for Apartments, apartments and stuff That's awesome. So, last s Fun, some. But even in a rental, you can only look at w It's kind of Tired of looking at w So, the wallpaper, put it on. Your landlord doesn't need to know. You just peel it off when you go. I hope I didn't make any landlords mad. No. It's very, very easy. And it's a great product, no glue. So, you have some time to put it up straight. But again, Dev is going to do a class on how to cut it and lay it out. She's a little more patient than I am. I'll teach you how to paint. Here's another couple finished pieces. Just the transformations, really, that was the before of that piece. Yes. And just basically how simple it can be to transform. Whether it's an heirloom piece or somet And here's my testimonial of how simple t W They were getting rid of them. They just didn't match my decor. They were kind of scratched up, dinged up. Got one can of chalk paint. And t Is that cute? I mean, so simple. And if I could do t Right. It is. Don't be intimidated by the process. It is. It is the piece that they were showing. They didn't show the final, but it's in the showcase home. And we took out the Swirly t And we changed out the doors to make it look So it's w It'shabby, cool. Love it. We're gonna put it up one more time. There we go. That's the final. That is so beautiful. That is just beautiful. So just amazing what the paint and what a little bit of creativity. And everybody has creativity. I don't care what people say when they walk in. Everyone has creativity. They can take a coaster, make a coaster. They can paint candlesticks. They can do a table.
