The next stop is Louis Earl Butcher Shop, a one stop shop for all your protein needs. And despite being next to a handful of grab and go or sit down restaurants, owner Matt Smith says all the businesses rely on each other. We're in a great spot. The walking neighborhood that is Wealthy Street is amazing. All the other businesses that are around just continue to bring more awareness to our business. Louis Earl supplies tons of local restaurants, including the Southerner, which you saw right here on the Let's Eat. I've been eating eggs wrong my entire life. But he also worked with local farmers to make sure their customers are receiving the freshest product possible. We literally go out once a week to our farmer and pick up eggs and the different proteins, the pork, the beef, the chicken that we sell here. And we know personally the farmers. We also set foot on those farms on a regular basis. And we have a constant dialogue with our farmers. And so I think that's that freshness, that traceability, that accountability aspect that the cons On this week's episode of Let's Eat, we're going to do things a bit differently here. Usually we're in a restaurant sitting down with a napkin and go for Dave a bit. This time went over to Louis Earl on Welby Street and we're going to actually get in the kitchen, get our hands dirty, see how the sausage is actually made. I get to make the sausage. I'm really excited about this. I don't know how much I'm going to charge because now that I'm an official employee. Right. I don't know how Matt feels about that. Jay's going to show us how to do it and then we're going to try our hands at it. Plot twist. Dave's going to mess up a whole lot. It's quite the tease. I'm not going to get really impressed with what happens next, but you're going to want to stick around to 13 on your side to see exactly how it went down. We're going to actually see how the sausage is made. Yes, literally. We had a great time there, but don't go anywhere. We're going to have a great second part to that. I am looking forward to that.
