My name is Ron Deadman, aka Ron Decor. That's my alias and DJ name. We're here at Dr. Frequence Records Shop, record store that I've owned since 1994 with my wife and partner Helen. Over the years we've been a well-known store for a lot of people. We've actually had a lot of customers that have been coming here since day one. We are sort of a community and a family-based business. Welcome all styles of music and the focus was always on vinyl. It started out as just being a collector. I've been a vinyl collector since, oh gosh, since the late 70s. Over the years I was ruined to buying records. To me record shopping was everyt My friends and I from middle school to We would spend every last penny, even lunch 20 on records. So it kind of started out as a passion for buying vinyl and just being into different kinds of music. That kind of propelled me into doing what I do today. From the whole DJing experience, getting more gigs and realizing how much fun it was, that got me my first record store job. When I started working at DMC Records up in LA, I realized I wanted to have my own store in Orange County. I started driving LA and Orange County didn't have a store So I figured it was about time I take the plunge and open my own record store and cater to people who So were sort of The songs remain as vinyl. Besides the music and the records and all the t Covering anyt We've had here as well to just DJ show cases. We've had Park Inn from Bloody Fist Records. We've had DJ Dan, Frankie Bones, Stops and every now and then. Besides DJing in our events, he's also been a good customer and shops here and we always require DJs to play vinyl. So no laptop, no CDJs, not It has to be on vinyl. I wanted to thank all of our customers and people who have been patronizing our store since the very beginning since 1994. We appreciate all the business we've gotten over the years. We're just glad that there's other people besides my wife and I that It's been nice that we've been able to sell and also promote our craft and add its records. So again, thanks to all of you who have been helping us keep the doors open and keeping the passion alive.
