Kilwins Fort Collins

As the season of love reaches its holiday, we found ourselves in Old Town Fort Collins at a locally owned chocolate factory called Killwinds. It all comes down to two days yesterday and today. So we have to get a lot of candy made, ordered, packaged, the store decorated. We have an extra of everything. We have a lot, a lot of candy because it comes down to two days of sales and we sell it as fast as we can. From fudge to ice cream and yes, even to the famous chocolate covered strawberries, anyone can find that special sweet for their special somebody here at Killwinds. I chose Killwinds because it's a local, local small business and they have a really good chocolate. And my wife is actually from Michigan, which is where Killwinds is based from. So it's kind of The nice thing about candy is it's relatively recession proof that the economy doesn't really affect candy very much. What changes is people bought smaller things, but they bought more of them. On Valentine's Day, customers stormed Killwinds, largely in hopes of purchasing a small snack that could show one thing. I think it would mean that she knows that I care about her and she likes Killwinds, Killwinds ice cream, we come down here in the s Hopefully it's all going to be sold and typically it is. We'll probably have a bunch of strawberries left and unfortunately we're going to have to eat those. We might mark them down tomorrow, but yeah, we typically tend to.
