Steve Feldman is an example of someone who took a personal challenge and turned it into a purpose-driven life's journey. First time I met Steve, he was helping us out. Were doing a YMCA teaching kitchen. He came in He was so excited to take part in George's Rescue. He got us everything we needed, literally took it to I've known Steve since 2004 and he really is our industry pioneer when it comes to upcycling. I looked up the definition of grit, actually, and it should have a picture of Steve next to the definition. The definition of grit is the passion and perseverance for the pursuit of long-term and meaningful goals. And that is Steve sort of in a nutshell. He has persisted when he's faced obstacles. The work he is doing is not easy. And it's just so wonderful and inspiring to watch him do what he's doing. I wish I had half of his perseverance. I think what's kind of funny with Steve is he'so excited about the kitchen that he's removing from the house that I've actually had clients second-guess So it's kind of funny sometimes where he's just incredibly excited and he knows it's going to sell right away and he can't wait to see it in the next house and my clients are kind of second-guessing. Well, maybe I could have held onto this for a few more years if he's able to sell it so quickly. He will always go that extra mile for you. I am honored to have him as not just somebody who collaborates with me on George's Rescue, but I consider him a friend and I look forward to many renovations together going forward. The comments I get from clients from their experience with renovation age and it is nothing short of always positive feedback and it'something that we're proud of representing to our clients. So cheers to Steve. We just plant the seed with the client and then Steve and his team take it from there and I mean how easy can that be? His enthusiasm for this process, for this goal of making the building industry more environmentally friendly, it was just so inspiring. Steve, your work indeed is making a difference and I am honored to be a small part of it. Warm congratulations. Cheers to you and here's to a great 2023. Congratulations Steve on this NKBA Hall of Fame. Congratulations Steve, I'm so excited you're now a Hall of Famer. You deserve it. Hey Steve, congratulations on being elected to the Hall of Fame. No one deserves it more than you. Thanks for changing this Earth for the better.
