West Towne Marketplace

The west side of El Paso continues to see new businesses pop up, giving shoppers more options across the area. ABC7 Sam Harris-Simoitz reports on how the Westtown marketplace continues to grow. Construction is underway behind me here in West El Paso, and both shoppers and workers are excited about the growth. I love it because now we have access to more brands, more entertainment. I love all the restaurants, not just the shops. Shoppers at the Westtown marketplace now have dozens of places to visit, as the shopping center has been growing since its birth about five years ago. One of Westtown marketplace's newest shops includes a cr I mean, the more restaurants that come in, the more business that is for us, and the more I'm Westtown marketplace is looking to add new stores and restaurants with a cheddar scratched kitchen under construction that'set to open in the coming months. I spoke with Adam Frank, president of River Oaks Properties, the company that owns and operates Westtown marketplace. He tells me that the new businesses setting up shops should have no problem filling out their staff. Everybody's coming back to work, and there's lots of opportunities, and I believe the retailers in El Paso do a good job of finding a workforce. Frank tells me that West El Paso is just one of several areas of the city that are continuing to see this kind of expansion with areas in both East El Paso and North East El Paso growing as well.
