This is the official Facebook page of Swan Brothers’ Dairy, Inc. This page is updated by the family employees. The dairy started in 1923 with one cow by Harley Swan, Sr. In 1962, Harley Swan, Jr. and Larry Swan, sons of Harley Swan, Sr. purchased the dairy. In 1972, Harley and his family bought it from his brother, Larry. In April of 1985, we started producing our quality cheeses beginning with Colby then, later in June, we began production of our varieties of cheddar cheeses. In 1992 we started producing mozzarella cheese. We do not add any coloring to any of our cheeses. Our cows are our top priority. We do not give them any hormones to increase their milk production. They receive grain in the milking parlor then are turned out to pasture where the receive hay and graze on pasture. Our herd consists of Holsteins, Brown Swiss, and crosses of Holsteins, Brown Swiss, and Jersey. Our hours are Monday—Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. We sell whole, 2%, and skim milk at $5.00 per gallon. We have a wide variety of cheese. This includes raw and pasteurized Colby, raw and pasteurized mild cheddar and sharp cheddar, pasteurized mozzarella, pasteurized and raw hot pepper and pasteurized mild hot pepper cheddar, raw smoked cheddar, and, our top sellers, pasteurized cheddar and hot pepper cheddar curds. We sell our cheeses in half pound blocks ($6.25 per pound), one pound blocks ($6.15 per pound) and two and a half pound blocks ($5.95 per pound). We only sell the smoked cheddar in half pound packages ($7.25 per pound). We ship cheese, but only in the cool winter months. We also sell made in Oklahoma products, local honey (produced in Oologah), beef and Ozark (beef and pork) sausage, and jams. We have cheese gift baskets and gift boxes available that make the perfect gift all year long (note: we do not ship when it is warmer weather).
