The Genesis Upflow Water Soffener uses as much as 75% less salt and as much as 64% less water on every regeneration as compared to downflow traditional water softeners. This Upflow model also carries a 7-year control valve warranty, lifetime warranty on the resin tank as well as the brine tank. And every Genesis system comes with Aldex 10% crosslink resin. 10% crosslink resin made by Aldex is a higher durability, higher capacity resin made in the US and Canada. It will outlast 8% crosslink resin on waters that deal with chlorine and now chloramines that most municipalities use that is very damaging to resins.
