I'm here to tell you the story of Bambubis and tell you a little bit about our products. Necessity is a mother of invention. I was a nursing mom. I've actually had three c Most new mothers that breastfeed and most do these days wind up being leaky and needing nursing pads. When I started the company, only cotton washable pads were available and that gets cold and clammy when it's wet. I'm sure I discovered t It holds body heat so it doesn't get cold and clammy. It's eco-friendly and it's ultra absorbent, the perfect material for a nursing pad. So when I came up with the goofy name Bambubis, w Launched the company to make nursing pads of a couple different types and we expanded the line to include some organic nipple balm and other products to support new moms. So who are these new moms and why do they need these products? New moms tend to be millennials. They're looking for premi When they do have their babies, they tend to breastfeed. That rates almost 80%. The majority of new moms who are breastfeeding also leak and need nursing pads. We did a study that shows almost two-these new moms who are millennials do their research. They're looking for the best products, the premi They're looking for eco-friendly products and Bambubis product line meets those needs. Bambubis is most famous for their washable nursing pads. They're so different from anyt They just say, oh, you've got to get these. They're amazingly soft. The softness is one part, but that's just t It's a bamboo velour. Inside is an ultra-absorbent layer and the back is a waterproof or we call it a milk-proof layer. These are overnight pads and these are the daytime or light leaking pads. So the overnight's come in boxes that look Two pair for heavy leaking and these cute heart-shaped ones are another these are for light leaking and they're made ultra-t Again, they're sold in two pair boxes As you can probably tell by now, we're a pretty eco-friendly focused business. It's a big part of our mission. I wasn't inclined to create a disposable nursing pad because typically they're made We did a survey of almost 2,000 moms. Two-t So we set out to make a better disposable pad and I t I'll tell you a little bit about it.
