Farm Stand & Orchards
Started in the late 1940's, Woods Farms is a family-owned and operated farm, orchard, and greenhouse on the edge of Franklin County in the Naff community. We have a seasonal farm stand on Route 613 (Naff Road) located 2.8 miles on the left at the Big Yellow Barn. We offer in-season plants, produce, fruits, Christmas trees, wreaths and garland. We also sell at the Roanoke City Market. We are open from the first week of April through the third week of December. Hours: Spring 2013- Thurs-Sat. 10am-5pm and Sun 11-4
Welcome to 101 Raft tips you should know. This is tip n We recently talked about how you can use sprinklers to your advantage, but the same principles apply to tree farms. With good space management, you can fit 10 advanced tree plots in the range of a single sprinkler, but we've got more than that. Farming palm trees always grants 5 planks and 2 leaves, but they're actually not the best source of wood in the game. The birch and pine trees that you'll find after visiting a certain story location will drop 7 planks per tree, and they also have a higher chance to return seeds for a more renewable farm, meaning that you can enjoy more planks in less time. Happy rafting!
