Bargain Carousel is an 1000-family garage sale benefiting the programs of Junior League of Birmingham, Alabama.
A 1000-family garage sale, Bargain Carousel is known as the "largest garage sale in Birmingham." The benefit to the community is two-fold: 1. Shoppers are offered quality items at garage-sale prices; 2. Funds raised are returned to the community through Junior League outreach programs. JUNIOR LEAGUE OF BIRMINGHAM Funds raised by Bargain Carousel benefit the 30+ programs of the Junior League of Birmingham, an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. As one of the largest volunteer service organizations in Alabama, the JLB has nearly 1,000 active volunteers who contribute more than 50,000 hours of service annually.
