Montana Santa

What a great comeback! I'm Dani and I'm Gabi and welcome to another road trip of San Jose. And my people will not imagine where we are right now. We are in nothing but Santa Mountain. So let's go there! Santa Mountain is the most important sanctuary in the Cahuas dioceses and one of the highest sanctuaries on the level of the sea in Puerto Rico. It is one of the most ancient pilgrimage places of greater devotion and older ones in Puerto Rico. This place was originated thanks to an extraordinary woman known as Elenita de Jesu00fas who made one of the most transcendental evangelization works in the history of Christianity in Puerto Rico, making a great cultural and religious legacy. The way to the area of u200bu200bthe three crosses was ancient Spanish royal path and it is the point where the municipalities of San Lorenzo and Patillas are united. There is a very visited water monastery called Balsamo according to tradition. I think I was here on the scale of one for my sixth retreat. I don'think I have a photo but I was around here. This reminds me a little of our adventure preparing ourselves in the morning. Santa Mountain was declared sanctuary on September 29, 1985 by the bishop Enrique Hernu00e1ndez. The sanctuary vocation is the Virgin of the Carmen, which is the most popular Marian devotion in Puerto Rico. The temple custodies a relic of the Puerto Rican peato Carlos Manuel.
