My focus is nature. I have always had a love for nature, animals and the environment as a whole, but until just over 6 years ago, I never saw it for what it was... ART. Nature is ART! Mother Nature is the ultimate creator. When I take a walk in the woods, I am rejuvenated and inspired. The life and creativity is reborn in me each time. The more I create, the more ideas I have. I never cut something down just to make my art. I find what has fallen, lift it up, clean it off and give it a new life. When I make each piece in my shop, I am feeling happy, excited, powerful, soulful and complete. I always create when I am in this state and no other, because I want my buyers to feel this energy when they look at and hang my art in their space. What I do has transitioned as I have walked through life and become so much more than just making art. It is life. It is peace. It is getting in touch with something more. We live in a cookie cutter world and it is pretty sad to me. I don't want to walk into my neighbors home and see the exact same décor as I have. I want something special and unique that reflects me and how I live. I promote sustainable, reusable, responsible and artistic living. I love community. I love connecting with people.
